What is it for?

Prostate ultrasound is a test that uses sound waves to create detailed images of the prostate gland. He evaluates the prostate, the seminal vesicles and the bladder.


What can he detect?

Prostatic hyperplasia, stress incontinence, tumors or suspicious nodules, monitorar the growth of the prostate, cysts, calcifications, or urinary obstruction.


What are the benefits?

Guidance for Treatments

Clarify the clinical picture for medical decisions, such as the need for biopsies or treatment of conditions such as BPH.

What is PREPARO?

Take 4 glasses of water 2 hours before the exam.

Do not empty your bladder until the examination is performed, unless your doctor allows you.
